Short Breaks in Fermanagh

Fermanagh is a borough of Northern Ireland situated in the far south-west of the country and shares many borders with counties in the Republic Of Ireland. It is a land of open spaces interspersed with woodland and criss-crossed with loughs and waterways. The most striking of these being Lough Erne and Lough Navar.

The main towns in Fermanagh are Enniskillen and Lisnaskea. There are also several villages in the region such as Belcoo, Belleek and Irvinestown.

Fermanagh's many attractions include the subterranean wonders of the Marble Arch Caves, the stately splendour of Florence Court, wildlife watching in Crom Estate nature reserve, the monastic island of Devenish and the impressive fortifications of Enniskillen Castle.
