Paignton is a family seaside resort on the English Riviera, a stretch of South Devon coastline encompassing 20 delightful beaches and coves all linked by the South West Coastal Path. Paignton Sands, Goodrington Sands and Preston Sands are at Paignton itself and are known for their safety and gently sloping beaches. Retaining its Victorian charm, Paignton Pier stretches out from the sea for 240 metres. A wide range of water sports are on offer to visitors including canoeing, snorkelling, boating, water-skiing and fishing.
