The United Kingdom (UK) is situated off mainland Europe in the North Atlantic Ocean. It consists of four countries: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The scenery ranges from rural English countryside to the Scottish mountains and glens, and from the Welsh Beacons to the Northern Irish coasts and hills.
