Suffolk
The county of Suffolk, in Eastern England, is a predominantly low-lying county. To the north are the famous Broads. The Suffolk coast and heathland are designated areas of outstanding natural beauty.
Suffolk's county town is the historic town of Ipswich; other towns include Bury St Edmunds, Lowestoft and Felixstowe - one of the largest container ports in the whole of Europe.
Places to visit include the famous ship-burial at Sutton Hoo, the coastal town of Aldeburgh and its arts festival, the nature reserve at the Stour Estuary and the picturesque town of Lavenham.
