Gartnagrenach is a traditional stone built farmhouse on the edge of Knapdale Forest and just over 7 miles from Lochgilphead.

Arrival/departure dates and number of nights stay may be flexible. We may also have last minute offers so please contact us.

The accommodation consists of living room, separate lounge/dining room, both with satellite television and DVD players. On the upper floor 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin room. Bathroom, with over bath shower, is on the ground floor.

The full range of white goods is available for your use, including washing machine and dishwasher.

Gas central heating throughout the house (LPG). Focal point fires in both the living room and lounge/dining room one gas one electric.

Fully fitted galley style kitchen with dual fuel cooker, microwave and all the pots, pans, dishes etc that you might need on holiday, especially if you enjoy cooking! Charcoal BBQ available.

All bed linen and towels are included in your holiday cost and a welcome pack of tea, coffee and sugar is provided for you.

We are both pet and child friendly! For younger ones a travel cot, high chair and changing mat can be provided.

We also supply Ecover cleaning products for use in the washing machine, dishwasher and bathroom and kitchen. Toilet paper, kitchen roll and bin bags are also included at no additional cost.

We have a wide selection of DVDs in the property, free wifi, a games console, a range of family games and jigsaws for you, and badminton racquets and swingball for the front lawn! - Plenty to keep the young and the not so young amused!

As well as you having the full house to enjoy there is a drying room with secure storage for your fishing equipment, boats, canoes, bicycles etc as well as any outdoor clothing. In here there is a tumble dryer for your use in case of inclement weather (it is Argyll!).

Pets are welcome at Gartnagrenach but ask that you do not allow them on the furniture or the beds and that you don't leave them alone in the house. We have available pet bed, towels and bowls if you need them. There is also an outside tap for you to wash them down after a muddy walk!

We do not charge extra for your pet(s) but do reserve the right to make a charge on the security deposit for any damage or fouling to the property.

Plentiful parking and room for trailers.

From the grounds surrounding the house you may see many varieties of local wildlife, including deer, red squirrels, pine martens, woodpeckers, buzzards and jays. If you are lucky you might also catch sight of an osprey or a golden eagle.

How to find us.

From Lochgilphead take the A816, Oban direction, for 2 miles to junction with B841, Cairnbaan. Follow B841 for 3 miles to "T" junction, turn left onto B8025. After 1 mile you will come to a "Y" junction, take the left fork passed the war memorial and Barnluasgan FC car park. Gartnagrenach is the second access on the left and is signed.
