October Property Update

What a busy month it has been! Here are a selection of some of the lovely holiday properties that have been added to Shortbreaks.com in the past month.

Woodpecker Cottage

Woodpecker Cottage is a luxury holiday cottage for a couple, in the Welsh Marches, 5 miles south of Ludlow, in the hamlet of Orleton Common, set in a wooded valley by a babbling brook and right on the Mortimer trail, a superb walking trail running from Ludlow to Kington.

The area is full of medieval castles, old hill forts and country houses, Ludlow at one point had more Michelin star restaurants than anywhere except London and many local pubs, a couple within walking distance.

Etterick Smiddy

Recently restored historic smiddy cottage on the west coast of the Isle of Bute with stunning views over the Kilbrannan sound to Inchmarnock Island, Isle of Arran and beyond to Kintyre peninsula. Sleeps 4 with a double and a twin bedroom. Scenic country setting and 5 minutes walk from the famous Ettrick Bay. Rothesay itself is only 5 minutes by car or you can catch the service bus at Ettrick Tearoom (and have a coffee and one of Alecs famous cakes whilst you are there). Rothesay itself is full of shops and eating places and has a supermarket for all your provisions. Lots to see and do around the island.
