House Holidays in Tenby
Pembrokeshire is a county in the south-west of Wales. It is famous for the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and its stunning coastal scenery. The main town is Haverfordwest, other towns include Pembroke, Milford Haven, Tenby and Fishguard. There is also a city, St David's, which is the smallest in the UK.
Due to the extent of coastline, the area is good for viewing wildlife - in particular seabirds. There is also a walking trail - the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path - which stretches for over 180 miles end to end! There are also many bays and coastal resorts which are perfect for the typical seaside break! The Preseli Hills are another natural wonder of Pembrokeshire - the stone from here was used in Stonehenge's construction!
As well as the natural wonders of this county, other attractions include the lakes and village of the Stackpole Estate, the impressive castles of Pembroke and Manorbier, a trip around the old town of Tenby and St David's Cathedral. For thrills and spills try the Oakwood Theme Park or the Blue Lagoon indoor waterpark!Read More...
