Like our other two thatched cottages, Autumn Cottage makes a perfect romantic or "get away from it all" break in step back in time countryside, villages and market towns. Rutland Water, along with the surrounding countryside and villages, provide a beautiful back drop for sailing, water sports, fishing, cycling, bird watching, golf and walking holidays.

Rutland is a paradise for walkers and cyclists alike. Autumn Cottage provides access from Preston village straight across the country footpaths!

Centrally heated throughout with an open log fire that serves both the kitchen/dining room and lounge. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, Combined TV/DVD with Freeview, Complimentary WiFi. All utilities, luxury bed linen and towels, a basket of logs plus welcome tray included in rental. Small single garage and off road parking in drive.

Autumn Cottage enjoys wonderful views over the fields and has an enclosed patio cottage garden at the rear.  It is located in the quiet and peaceful conservation village of Preston in England 's smallest county, Rutland. This charming small village enjoys wonderful access for walkers and cyclists alike, immediately out into Rutland's beautiful countryside and is just 4 miles from Rutland Water, including Rutland Water Nature Reserve, Rutland Sailing Club and Rutland Water Golf Club. Preston is also home to the historic St Peter and St Paul C of E Church.

Geoff Hamilton's legacy of his famous Barnsdale Gardens are close by, whilst other are splendid gardens are within easy travelling distance by car.

NB: Our cottages operate strictly Non-smoking and No Pets policies.  Children aged 12 years and over only.
