It is the perfect place to relax and savour the sea views and breaking surf from the garden - or from inside, through the bay window whilst cosying up on the large window seat with its numerous iconic sea blue cushions. As Ocean Front Gem is only yards from the sea, there's also instant access to the beach for families and surfers and to the spectacular coastal path for walkers. Polzeath Beach is famous for surfing, it has three surf schools, and is watched over by Lifeguards in the summer months .
The village of Polzeath with its food, clothes and surf shops, galleries, eateries, and surf schools is an easy walk accross the beach at low tide or via the coast path if the tide is high. There is really no need to use your car unless you wish to explore further afield to Port Isaac, Trebarwith, Tintagel, Padstow (via the ferry from Rock beach), Wadebridge, Harlyn, Watergate Bay, Constantine or inland to St Kew, St Just or other charming Cornish villages - or along the coast to Newquay and beyond. A day trip to the Eden Project, St Ives, Falmouth, Fowey, St Mawes or to the Camel Valley Vineyard is also well worth the drive.
The kitchen/breakfast room has a large fridge/freezer, an electric Aga, 2 dishwashers and a microwave. There is a breakfast bar and a separate stylish utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, ceiling airer and extra wc.
