Rockside Studio, New Polzeath

Rockside Studio is a delightful holiday accommodation in New Polzeath, located close to Polzeath Beach and to the beach path with access direct to Baby Bay Beach. Ideal for a couple or a family with up to 2 children. There is private balcony, parking and shared gardens overlooking the beach. 

Enjoy the instant access to beach and surf, with the private path that connects directly to the coastal path leading to Baby Bay beach, part of Polzeath beach at low tide. The Bohemian village of Polzeath with its shops, restaurants, cafes and surf hire/schools is just a short walk across the beach.

The Studio has a ground floor kitchen and shower room, with living and sleeping area upstairs for 2-4 guests (1 king bed and 2 single z beds if needed), plus a balcony. Polzeath village is a short walk across the beach at low tide or along the cliff path at high tide.

The Studio now has fast wifi + smart TV,  a  Nespresso Vertuo Coffee Machine (please bring your own Vertuo capsules) and a picnic set, a washing machine and New for 2023 a larger Fridge Freezer....  Linen  & bath towels are also now inlcuded. 

The Studio is a retreat from the hustle and bustle of neighbouring coastal destinations and  has access down to sheltered Baby Bay Beach and across the sands to the dense dramatic cliffs dissected only by the path to Pentire Point. This holiday home is tucked away on a private lane to the beach serving just 6 homes. 

The direct route to the beach is at the bottom of the garden ... pack a picnic, slip on your flip-flops and it's a sixty-second stroll to peaceful, family friendly Baby Bay - or lace up your walking boots and embark on a section of the North Cornwall Coastal Path as delightfully depicted by Raynor Winn in her best selling book, The Salt Path.... rumoured to soon be released as a film. Pre book a private or communal session at the Sauna by the Sea cabin at the far end of Baby Bay followed by the luxxury of a swim in the ocean to cool you down.

Turn left from The Studio and you'll pass a Doc Martin TV series location, as featured in the 2022 season. Just a few minutes walk and you are on a sandy Polzeath Beach, at the mouth of the River Camel, where the surf is exxellent and dolphins are frequently spotted. The wide exxpanse of clean beach is a mecca for water sports as well as a haven for meditation and yoga, in the quieter coves.

Polzeath is renowed for its glorious sunsets which are best viewed with a sundowner on the patio area below The Studio ! 

While away the evenings at the Atlantic Grill & Bar a few steps away in New Polzeath, find a beach-side bar or restaurant in Polzeath, Rock, Port Isaac or Padstow, or cook and entertain at our built-in BBQ situated in 'The Crescent' on the lawn outside The Studio . There is an 8-person dining table and comfortable Adirondack-style chairs. Its equipped with cooking tools (coals can be purchased locally) and available to guests staying in The Studio and the adjacent Rockside The Perch .... share it amongst yourselves.

Up to 2 well behaved small dogs with their own bed will be welcomed for a fee of £30 per week. In 2024, Dogs are only allowed on Polzeath Beach & Baby Bay Beach for 24 hours a day from Sept 30 - May 15 and from 6pm -10am only in the summer months [May 15- Sept 30], but all coast paths and other local beaches are dog friendly 24 hours all year.

There are now 4 EV chargers in the Council car park in New Polzeath, which is right behind The Studio.

Linen and towels are supplied for 1 King bed. If you require the 2 z beds there is an additional charge. Please note that the z beds are only suitable for children under 12 years old.
