"We were lucky to be the 1st to stay in the property - which is part of a Manor house on a racing stable. Ask the owners about the history of the house and there is a great tale to hear. Watching the horses exercise in the morning was fascinating and there are some nice walks with great views over the local countryside- you can see Wales across the water on a clear day. It is a working stable so you need to respect that but it was great to get a tour and learn more about these powerful animals and about some of their individuality. There are some lovely places to visit nearby in Dunster and other villages. There are a number of nice restaurants not too far that are small so you need to book well in advance. Overall we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay in a great property with lovely hosts and would go again."
