  Entrance Hall

  The wide entrance hall has comfy seating, a dresser, and a coat and shoe rack

  There are doors straight through to the garden - at one time this would have been where the threshing was done so the prevailing wind would blow the chaff out into the barn yard.

  Open Plan Living Space

  The open plan living space is a supersized and very sociable room where you can all get together for celebration feasts and chitchat. To one end there's a well equipped kitchen, in the middle there's a long dining table that seats 14, and at the far end there are opulent sofas and chairs, and an open fire with hearthside seating. If you're staying here with a larger group renting both barns you can all dine together in this room - another long table and chairs can be brought in on request and set up for your stay, making enough seating for 28.

  Kitchen

  The kitchen is to one end of the open plan living space. It is very well equipped with: 

  • 2 Bosch double electric ovens
  • Inset 5 burner gas hob with wok burner
  • 2 dishwashers
  • Large drinks fridge
  • Quooker boiling water tap
  • Nespresso Coffee machine

  There is also a walk-in pantry with:

  • washing machine
  • tumble dryer
  • US style fridge-freezer with ice maker and chilled filtered water dispenser
  • Microwave

  Bedroom 1 'Oats'

  Oats is a cosy room on the ground floor and has zip and link beds that will be arranged as a twin (superking on request).

  It shares a shower room with Bedroom 2 which is just across the lobby, so these two rooms make a very good suite for a family – parents in one room, children in the other.

  Bedroom 2 'Hops'

  Hops is on the ground floor and has a superking bed.

  This room is just across the lobby from Oats; between them is a shared shower room, so these two rooms make a good suite for a family, with parents sleeping in one room and children in the other.

  Bedroom 3 'Linseed'

  Linseed is a ground floor room with superking bed.

  It has an en suite bathroom with bath and overhead shower.

  Linseed is the easiest bedroom to access so suitable for anyone with mobility issues  - we can provide a wheel chair ramp if needed. Please be aware the property is not fully accessible and ensuite has a standard bath.

  Bedroom 4 'Red Clover'

  Red Clover is on the first floor and sleeps 2 iin a superking bed.

  This room has an en suite with a bath and overhead shower.

  Bedroom 5 'Barley'

  Barley is on the first floor and has zip and link beds that will be arranged as a super king (or twin on request)

  It has its own shower room with a large walk-in shower.

  Bedroom 6 'Yellow Rattle'

  Yellow Rattle is a first floor room that has zip and link beds.  These will be set up as two singles but can be changed to superking if requested.

  This room has shared use, with Bedroom 7, of a bathroom with a bath with an overhead shower.

  Bedroom 7 'Wheat'

  Wheat is on the first floor and sleeps 2 in twin zip and link beds (superking on request).

  This room shares a bathroom with Bedroom 6; the bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower.
