The Hut is a much loved family holiday home which is let when members of the family are not using it. It is in a wonderful position just above Daymer Bay – 90 seconds to the beach – with stunning sea views over the Camel Estuary towards Padstow. It is situated in its own ¾ acre of garden. The house sleeps 8 people comfortably in four bedrooms.

The Hut is a much loved family holiday home which is let when members of the family are not using it. It is in a wonderful position just above Daymer Bay – 90 seconds to the beach – with sea views over the Camel Estuary towards Padstow. It is situated in its own ¾ acre of garden. There is an excellent golf course in Rock as well as facilities for sailing and water skiing, and there are Surf Schools and very good surfing in Polzeath.

The accommodation is as follows:

The house sleeps 8 people comfortably. There are four bedrooms consisting of one very large bedroom with two beds pushed together to make a double bed 6’ wide and a wash hand basin, one with twin beds which can also make a double bed, one with bunks and a single bed (the bunks are substantial and would allow adults to sleep there if required) and one single bedroom - all the beds are 3’ wide
Everything is provided except linen & towels. There are single duvets on the beds with some additional blankets. You will need to bring linen with you: duvet covers, sheets, pillowcases, towels, kitchen towels etc.
The sitting room, which also contains the dining table, is quite large. There is a small kitchen, and two bathrooms with a shower over the bath and a WC in each bathroom.
Cooking is by electricity. There is a fridge and a fridge-freezer, a washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer, Kenwood mixer, a steam and an electric iron, colour T.V., DVD and video player, telephone, a high chair (found in garden shed) and a baby bath
As well as storage heaters, there is an electric convector heater in each room and an open fire in the sitting room in which you can burn logs and coal. Hot water is provided by the immersion heater. It heats water during the night on the off-peak tariff and there is an additional boost on the domestic tariff. There are solar panels which heat the water in sunny weather
There are two electricity meters, one for the domestic rate and one for the off-peak rate. You are requested to read the meters on arriving and leaving the house and to pay the owner for the electricity you have used. (There is a notebook by the telephone where you should leave a note of your readings. The rates for electricity are at the front of the notebook so that you can calculate the bill. (Or send the owner the readings). The owner will also receive a telephone bill after your stay and will let you know what you owe for telephone calls
There is broadband at The Hut and all information about it is by the telephone in the sitting room. There is an instruction book with a list of useful telephone numbers, etc.
If you would like to bring a pet with you, I would be grateful if you would discuss this first with the owner, there is a charge of £25 per dog, max 2 dogs.
Mrs Sarah Cook will come to clean when you leave and you pay her for this service. She asks for £45.00 for cleaning
