Sleeping 12 guests in 5 bedrooms, Menagerie House is a wonderful spot for peaceful family holidays, days away with friends, sophisticated hen weekends and celebrations with the chosen few. This imposing Georgian property stands in an elevated position with unspoilt views over miles and miles of spectacular North Devon countryside. The secluded location neighbours the Castle Hill country estate and gardens and is approached by a short tree lined drive.

On the first floor the house has a large, light and airy reception room where you can all gather together to catch up and spend the hours relaxing, or to celebrate a special birthday or anniversary. Outside there’s a large garden with a big patio for summer barbecues, sweeping lawns for fun and games, and a big bubbly hot tub for you to use any time of year. Close by you’ll find plenty to see and do with cosy country pubs, outdoor activities and quiet market towns to browse. Exmoor National Park and the beaches of the North Devon coast are just a short drive away for days out.

"10/10 - This is a great property and I would give it my highest recommendation. The location is excellent to allow family time away from all other distractions yet still be 45 minutes drive from many activities. The views and landscape of the area are stunning. One of the best vacation houses we have ever staying in. Upkeep of the house is also immaculate."
