This historic Jacobean Manor House, with its glittering facade and grand function rooms, combines traditional features with modern comforts, its self contained nature fostering the perfect escape. Guests can relax and socialise in its large kitchen, complete with full catering equipment and underfloor heating. Additionally, its T.V room, sitting room and dining hall, all furnished with beautiful hamstone fireplaces and contemporary wood burners nurture a warm social enviroment. Guests can enjoy a game of pool or table football in the games room, or taker a relaxing soak in a hot tub under the stars. If needed, seven spacious bedrooms also allow for plenty of privacy. The Manor’s attached fields which expand straight from its back garden provide nature lovers a tranquil stroll to the river Yeo – with far-reaching views into Dorset, and a chance to spot the kingfishers and otters which inhabit the river’s banks. 
If you decide to venture out, the surrounding area is filled with picturesque cycling routes and nature walks, including the Monarch’s Way, which traces King Charles's II path through Civil War England. If a pub pilgrimage is more your speed, a pint at the Rose and Crown, in Trent, is at the finish line of a two-hour country romp. The towns of Yeovil and Sherborne – both within a 15-minute’ drive provide a host of restaurants, pubs, and other experiences, including bowling and movies in the Yeo leisure park. Finally, Burton Bradstock and several other beaches are within half an hour's drive, along with Montacute House, a gorgeous slice of Elizabethan history.
