The Retreat

Hillside Farm retreat is located on the outskirts of the village of Niton, on the south side of the Isle of Wight ideal for couples, or a family with an infant ,ramblers, dog owners,cyclists in a rural peaceful setting .The retreat is based in the courtyard of Hillside farm within a enclosed courtyard near the play area . We are also on a walker's routes straight out the door as well as close to various beaches and many of the attractions that the Island has to offer. There is always something to do whilst visiting, but it’s also important to understand that a holiday can sometimes be the opportunity to stay a bit more static and relax. We are also able to offer discounted ferry travel with your booking booked through us.

The bungalow is a self contained one bedroom unit on the South side of Hillside Farm’s courtyard. You have the whole bungalow to yourselves and outside space for relaxing with a glass of wine or dining in the evening sunset. One main bedroom with separate shower room, sink and toilet. The living area has a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, SMART TV with Freeview, and Wifi. Double sofa bed .You also have access to a laundry room with washer and dryer.Own parking bay available at the entrance only 20 yards from your front door with lights on those darker evenings.

Unique to Hillside Rural Retreat is our ability to offer a variety of Beauty and Wellbeing Treatments on-site as we have a full treatment salon at Hillside Farm. Please see www.iwbeauty.co.uk if this is of interest please contact us beforehand to book in a treatment subject to availability.

Discounted ferry travel to be booked through us.

Fresh eggs can be provided from our hens subject to availability.

We have our own dog, guinea pigs and also have our farm animals that you are welcome to meet up with, including ponies and chickens. Please do just be aware that the chickens wake up early!

My name is Sharon Cronnelly I run and own along side with my husband John Hillside Farm Retreats we set up the retreat in 2019 and have enjoyed our success in meeting people and sharing any Isle of wight holiday information of places to go and eat and visit to our guests and future guests . We have our dog Pippa and other farm animals two old Shetland ponies ,chickens, Guinea pigs, Rabbit.

The cottage is set in a beautiful, quiet hillside location with stunning views and is equipped with everything you could need - and more! Sharon and John (and not forgetting Pippa) were amazing hosts and shared lots of ideas of places to visit including the numerous beaches, pubs for great food and drink, walks and not forgetting the best ice cream parlour on the Island - Crave in Ventnor! We simply ran out of time to visit everything and we loved it so much that we have already re-booked for 2 weeks next year to stay in their newest dwelling, The Stable.
